Professor Lazarus Winter is an old human alchemist who has had his life extended by potions and magic. He is a brilliant scientist and strategist who has worked many years in the Red Order and contributed many new golem designs and stratagems to the order.
In Akshus he has been recruited to develop weapons for fighting the Githzherai enemy, and he also operates the large labor camps east of the City of Towers with an iron fist.
