The Moon is the Amrikh god of war, slaughter, battle and death. He has spent the last many years since the fall of the Amrikh in Akshus, gaining power through the death and suffering of that land and working to position himself to aiding and manipulating Po into taking the Master Scepter.
His most recent guise is that of Father Gabriel , monster hunter, protector of innocents and slayer of undead. From this guise he wishes to nurture Po into a responsible and capable leader and warrior, while also showing him the dark side of The Gold Empire.

The Lesser God of the Amrikh
The Moon was in ancient times the lesser god of the Amrikhi, a god of war, death and an unworthy afterlife and a dark reflection of his lover and siser. He was the punishment to the cowardly and unworthy, to the thief and those who did their business in the night. However, unlike Hesmash he was not corrupted by blood sacrifices, as he had always sustained himself on death and no new sacrifice was given to him.
The Moon was only worshipped when cursing your enemies, wishing to avoid him or when wanting to release your own ghosts.
Specter of War
When the Cataclysm happened and the Amrikhi died out, Hesmash fell into a deep slumber, the closest a god can get to dying. The Moon was dismayed, but he continued his own form of life for many more millennia, as there was still plenty of dishonorable death in Akshus he could sustain himself on. He became a specter of war and death, taking different mortal forms to be near the source of his power. In one life he moved as a mercenary, in another was an honorable champion and in another as a street-rat near crime and plagues. He clung on to his existence, and used only his power sparingly, waiting for a chance to ressurect Hesmash.
The Deception
After nearly five millennia, Hesmash finally awoke again, but she was dying. The Moon too was being consumed by the Dragon God, though not nearly as quickly as Hesmash, as he had managed to disguise himself from it by walking through the world as a mortal. Together, the Moon and Hesmash conducted a plan, to fill an aasimar with hate for the Gold Empire and awaken the army Sa'nakt had promised them, and finally return Hesmas to her position of splendor among gods.
While Hesmash would create the aasimar and guide him when the time came, the Moon would take a physical form to both guide the aasimar and inspire hate for the Gold Empire in the young aasimar.
