The most exalted of the Aurathean Churches, the gold-eyed and prophetic Gold Metal Priests are the undisputed masters of the Gold Empire, the exalted oracles of Aurathear Darastrix. When the Gold Metal Priest speaks, the armies, fortunes and labor of the Gold Empire marches. Whether it be in city planning and investing the wealth of the Empire, or in guiding foreign policy and war efforts, the oracular gifts of the Gold Metal Priests bring victory and glory to the Empire.
However, such exalted status comes at a price, and the Gold Metal Priests have given their futures, souls and afterlives to the burning auric fire of the Dragon God, a sacrifice which separates them from other mortals as chosen souls.
