Fire Giant

Scions of Surtur, the Fire Giants are smiths and conquerors of ancient legends. It was the industry of the Fire Giants that made the ancient Giant Kingdom a force to be reckoned with, and it was their conquests of new lands that brought wealth, thralls and resources to the kingdom. When the dragons came for the Giant Kingdom, many Fire Giants chose to stand, and many of them died.
The Fire Giants that survived that ancient Doom are those that either travelled to colonize new lands or those too cowardly to stand and protect their home. They have lost much of their knowledge of metalworking and runecrafting, but they are still a force to be reckoned with and many ambitious Fire Giant dukes have carved out new duchies for themselves all across the world, taking humanoid races as thralls to fuel their fires.

Surtur the Smith
Surtur is the patron god of the Fire Giants. They are famous as the greatest weapon-smith in the world, and it was their engineering and smithing ingenuity which brought several of the Primordials to heel.
