Darksteel

Darksteel also known as dunchalcor is a a very hard alloy of star metal that possesses a silvery hue when it was cut or polished, while its exposed surfaces bore a deep purple gleaming luster. Almost as hard as adamantine and nigh-unbreakable, original darksteel was more durable and lighter than steel, yet behaved similarly, but darksteel forged in later years had the same weight and durability as steel.

Darksteel Weaponry typically costs an additional 1,500 gp and has the following properties;

• Wielding this weapon provides the wielder with resistance to lightning damage
• This weapon deals an an additional 1d4 lightning damage on a hit
• This weapon is considered to be nonmagical for the purposes of enchantments, spells, or other magical effects
