Born into an isolated northern tribe locked in rigid tradition, Fiernar was destined to fill an enforcer role from birth, carrying out the will of those born into higher status. He chafed under these oppressions and fled, braving open seas in a rowboat until a merchant ship, the
Swift Seal, rescued him. Now on the mainland, Fiernar seeks to forge a reputation of firm authority and unshaken resolve. He dreams of earning respect without resorting to brute force, wanting his word and reputation to carry weight all on their own.
His background includes a working knowledge of contracts—imparted by a close childhood friend—and minor magics gleaned from life within the tribe. On the road, Fiernar makes loose acquaintances in passing towns, though none have dared trust this mysterious newcomer fully. He carries an inner drive to prove himself as both adventurer and arbitrator, leaving behind a life of subjugation for one of self-determination and respect.

- Feirtor & Tresa (Parents): Once low-status enforcers in the tribe, their standing collapsed further after Fiernar’s desertion.
