Volm

Volm is the sword at the people's neck, the crushing weight of order at any cost. Volm is the Lord of Conquest and the Endless Army, the many hands and feet marching towards domination. In the stories, Volm is always urging Vadin to more restrictive rule and conquers foes with Thani in the name of the Northern Pantheon with his brilliant martial strategy and discipline. He and his worshippers are concerned with conquest, power over others, and rigid order. Volm is depicted in the stories as an entire army of faceless soldiers. Volm was also appointed by Vadin to keep the gate between death and life, and his faithful thus also despise the undead and seek to undo magic that could restore lost life. The worship of Volm is attractive to paladins, fighters, tyrants, and other people who rule with an iron will.
Alignment: Volm's inflexibility and lust for power make him and his followers Lawful Evil.
