Tiefling

Tieflings exist on the fringes of every human society. Their fiendish appearance marks an infernal influence somewhere in their bloodline, whether an ancestor was a warlock bound to a powerful archdevil or an actual devil lurks in their family tree. However, while some nations use this to discriminate against tieflings, this has fallen out of style. In many places around the world, tieflings are treated no worse than humans.
Alignment: Tieflings might be of any alignment.
Deities: A tiefling might serve any god.
Homeland: Tieflings typically share cities and nations with humans the world over.
In addition to the regular set of tiefling bloodlines, Tiamat has been known to influence mortals in ways much like the other archdevils do. The Bloodline of Tiamat option is presented below.

Bloodline of Tiamat

The tieflings linked to Tiamat often exist in her church, which molds them to be better clerics. Her brood also often exhibit subtle draconic tendencies, such as slit pupils or a ridged tail.

• Ability Score Increase. Your Wisdom score increases by 1.
• Legacy of Tiamat. You know the Thaumaturgy cantrip. Once you reach 3rd level, you can cast the Command spell once as a 2nd-level spell. Once you reach 5th level, you can also cast the Hold Person spell once. You must finish a long rest to cast these spells again with this trait. Charisma is your spellcasting ability for these spells.
