Midland

Located roughly in the center of the Northern Realms, Midland is an old, prosperous kingdom. Its centuries old constitution garuntees certain rights to every citizen. However, these rights don't extend to outsiders - while uncommon, Midland citizens have gotten away with murder and theft on the grounds that their foreign victim didn't have any rights to the contrary. This isn't typically a worry, however, and Midland's relative safety and peaceful society make it a decently pleasant place to live or immigrate.
