Personal history

Varalys was born in 2322WR, being born into a family of guards for the village of Vasil. Her life was a normal one, marrying the Dragonborn Haeldrom in 2344wr. However, in 2347wr, a slaver band of Yakfolk had swept through the village, kidnapping some of the residence, including Haeldrom and Varalys. They would be separated, with Varalys being taken to the Umani Yakfolk tribe. She and the few dragonborn taken with her would be used for menial labor. By the years end, however, Varalys would devise a plot to destroy the Yakfolk tribe. She, along with the 5 other Dragonborn, would end up killing the shaman, and destroy the tribe from the inside. After the tribe's destruction, Varalys would lead her few compatriots back to Vasil, though she would not stay for long. She would go out and look for her Husband using his leather armor and bow, as well as destroy the tribe he was being held in.
In 2349wr, while looking for her spouse, Varalys would come across a wounded dire wolf. She would care for it, and when it had gotten better, it would follow Varalys around. She would name it "Thane," and would keep him around as both a pet and a mount to ride into combat. in 2352wr, she would discover an old tomb dedicated to an old knight. While most of the items found in the tomb was basic equipment, she would find a magic sword with a 20 sided dice on it. To her, it had made her incredibly lucky, as good fortune would constantly befall her. This luck was demonstrated in 2353wr, when she helped quell a bandit uprising in the town of Shesk' Akum. She would narrowly dodge multiple arrows, traps, and spells and would end up killing the leader by dropping a roof on him. She wouldn't stay for very long, leaving without many people even seeing her face. Due to her baggy clothes, unisex name, gruffer than normal voice, and leaving before talking with anyone, the town assumed that Varalys was a male dragonborn.
She would begin moving around Zouswiland, saving people, towns, and trade caravans, all the while trying to find which Yakfolk village Haeldrom may be in. In 2355wr, Varalys was in Vilkrath, when an Orc Warcamp had moved nearby. She would go to kill their leader and scatter them, until she heard one of the orcs speak about Yakfolk trying to sell them Dragonborn slaves. Her goal would become to interrogate the war chief on the location of the tribe. She would lead a small army right into the Warchiefs chambers, where she would take Warchief Gramoulin in for questioning. She would learn about a Yakfolk village northwest of Vilkrath called Yorksan. Varalys would then set out, with Gramoulin in toe, to the Yakfolk village. She would end up discovering that the village is located in an abandoned lair of a Gold Dragon, with only 1 large way in and out. Her first attempt in capturing the town would end in failure, with Gamoulin taking her to safety, so that she owes him. When Varalys came to, Gamoulin would immediately use this fact to get her to find him a firearm, and in return not only will she not owe him anymore, he would use his Orcs to help destroy the Yakfolk.
