History

Rakashia were created in 81wr, when Kekroa created them. She made them as a response to watching so many new small creatures be made by the Gods. She put them in the Wildlands, in an area similar to her domain in the Beastlands, where there is only desert. Their nomadic nature would often let them move around their new home freely. This would cause problems with Blue dragons, sparking a great hatred between the two. A similar distrust is found among them and Brass Dragons, although it is mostly because they believe that Brass Dragons are annoying and do not want to talk to them. In 237wr, a Rakashia group had encountered a Human City, called Nosh'jon. They were terrified of the city, the Magic, and the Technology. Stories of the weird world would spread among other Rakashia, causing most to try to avoid these towns.   They would learn to live underground in 673wr. They would dig holes into the sand, later into the stone, and create a complex, ant-like colony underneath the sand. These "dens" were never truly permanent, only used for Traveling Rakashia as temporary homes that they use for usually at most 3 days. Two permanent Dens where created at this time, being Au Ooh Gru, and Rechanoo. For many years, they where the only ones, until the Calamity event.   During the Calamity event, the Rakashia would either flee into their Temporary homes, or flee into either Au Ooh Gru or Rechanoo, not leaving for almost the entire Event. Those that where trapped outside of their dens where usually either killed or mutated beyond recognition. Their fear of the horrors they saw would keep them trapped in the Dens they made even after the catastrophe. They became extremely paranoid, afraid that something like that would happen again when they were out in the open. Very few Rakashia would actually leave their Dens, either because they where banished for causing problems within the Den, or because the den was ransacked and destroyed.

Interspecies Relations and Assumptions

Rakashia are distrustful to most other races. While most other races did not hate them, they usually shared this distrust, due to their strange, insectoid visage.   Rakashia especially hate the Blue dragons and the Warforged. Blue dragons are natural predators to the Rakashia, but the Warforged are the greatest showing of the strange and frightful use of Technology and Magic that other creatures use.   Rakashia and Thri-Kreen are trusted allies. Rakashia and Desert Lizardfolk tolerate each other.
