Glatus is capable of blessing people. These "Blessing" makes that creature a "General" of his. They gain a small fragment of his powers, and in return, he can only be killed by his Generals. If no generals are alive, Glatus is vulnerable to death once again. The ritual to bless a creature takes over 10 days.

Personal history
Glatus was made in -811cr, where a group of 40 Dukes of hell would try to create a Demon that they can control. They planned to use this Demon to destroy the Abyss, as they would give him his name, meaning they could control him. The ritual required a broken sword made by Moradin, about 500 lbs of Demon Ichor in a Vase made from the flesh of an astral dreadnought. Then, they must all bleed into the vase, put the Sword in, and heat up the Vase. After it reaches a temperature equal to that of the 9 hells itself, they must destroy the vase, where the Demon would begin to take shape. While Glatus was in this state of birth, he would kill 39 of the 40 Dukes, and would use their souls to finish the broken sword, creating the Flameberge. He would go on a rampage in the first layer, until he is teleported into the Astral sea by Zariel. He would continue this chaotic rampage, making his way to Mount Celestia until 132wr, where a Human wizard would banish Glatus into a Demiplane where he could not escape. Due to Glatus' rage, however, a Cult was built around sacrificing the correct number of humanoids to keep him satiated, as not enough sacrifices would allow him to escape through his rage, and not too much will give him the strength to escape.
In 2017wr, a group of Adventurers would destroy this cult, as the party was targeted by the cult for sacrifices. This would release Glatus into the world by accident. He would destroy the City of Godsen, and bestow the "blessing" of being generals of his army of 5 different Mortals. He would give Barros the wizard, Red, Guile, Colossus, Mag Uruk, and Dileth a small ounce of power. The Heroes, named Wrafe Charr, Wu Chang, Cu Chulainn, Tomato, Nyx, Skamos, Mordai, Rolen, and Radur Thondin, would go out and slay these Generals, and would follow Glatus to his home in Limbo. They would find and slay the beast, but not before sending a piece of Limbo into the material plane, causing the Calamity Event. His sword remains in Limbo, on a small floating Island in the middle of nowhere, which can be used to revive Glatus.

Glatus and Boboya had fought in the past, when Glatus had begun traveling through the Astral Plane to attempt to raise hell in Mount Celestia. Because Glatus is a Demon, Boboya was forced by his own instincts to fight Glatus. While Boboya couldn't defeat him, he did break Glatus' skull mask.

History
Glatus had ripped Bobran in half, and forced his steed to fuse with him. Effectively, Glatus dishonored Bobran, defeated him easily, and killed not only his steed, but a close friend.
History
Titivilus was gravely wounded upon Glatus' creation, and was the only survivor from his rampage. The other Dukes of Hell would be violently killed, their essence being used to make his sword.
