Exorcism

Remove demons from souls in just a few easy steps!

History

Exorcisms were created in 623wr to remove possessed spirits and demon curses.

Execution

First, the person having the exorcism must be bound. Then, a cleric, paladin, or priest of a good aligned god, with that god's holy symbol, holy water, ceremonial dagger, and the name of the person being exorcised. The priest must have the victim drink the holy water, while chanting the following: "Oh evil apparition, leave the body of [Person being Exorcised], or feel the treatment of a holy man." Sometimes, this is all that is needed, and the specter may leave the body of the victim. This is, however, extremely rare, and usually the next will happen. After the victim drinks the holy water, the Priest will begin chanting "O [Priest's God's name], help me in removing the evil soul trapped in [Victim]'s body," while raising the ceremonial dagger and the holy symbol in the air. After about 1 minute of doing so, the Priest must hold the dagger with both hands, while also grasping the symbol, and plunge the dagger into the victim's body. If done successfully, the dagger will not harm the victim, and will instead will pierce their soul. The priest must then wait until he hears the screams of the invader, indicating that the dagger has caught it. Once caught the priest must pull the dagger out as fast as possible, ripping the invader out of the body.At this point, the priest usually banishes it back to wherever it was supposed to be.
