History

The first Aasimar was made in 85wr, when a Deva, named "Hushin," had a child with a human woman he had fallen in love with. Due to the at-the-time laws the gods had set, Hushin could not stay with her, and she was forced to raise the child by her lonesome. The Aasimar, named Drawn, would grow up and would stop an Aboleth from destroying the fishing Village he grew up in. It was no small feat, as he alone, using powers of a god, would cut the being in half using his spiritual weapon in 118wr. Because he was the first, he didn't hide his heritage, and many would ask for his help, and for his blessings. People would celebrate Aasimars, seeing as how the first one was a grand hero. For years to come, many Aasimar would do feats of heroism, such as in 325wr, where an Aasimar had killed a serial killer, and in 444wr, when twin Aasimars had stopped an Ogre raid. Because of these feats of heroism, many good people have grown an idea of what an Aasimar is. But, because of this stress, some Aasimar would become evil. The first instance of this was in 767wr, when an Aasimar named "Kalabash," would constantly be berated with cries for help, and would be insulted for not helping people all the time. He would go insane, and destroy the town of 10,000, creating the Fallen Aasimar.

Interspecies Relations and Assumptions

Aasimar are well loved by most Humanoid species, due to their affiliation with the gods. Fiends, evil humanoids, and cultists would hate Aasimar for their affiliation with the gods.   Tieflings and Aasimar don't particularly hate each other. Some Aasimar take on a holy crusade to kill all devils, usually mistaking Tieflings for devils. But they don't usually particularly hate each other. The same with the Genasi.
