Among the ranks of Alathor’s dreaded Harbingers, few wrought devastation as innovatively as Caelumbra, known ominously as the Prism-Maker. A Harbinger of profound ingenuity and dark ambition, Caelumbra stood apart for his mastery over Lifeforce, wielding an unparalleled ability to fracture physical matter into its elemental constituents.

Origins and Early Ambitions

Caelumbra's origins trace back to a distant universe, long since consumed by Voidaris. Known among his celestial kin as "The Great Prism," Caelumbra's specialty was his neural and physical ability to manipulate the universal essence known as Lifeforce. During the creation of Alathor by The Mother of Us All and The Tinkerer (Father), Caelumbra envisioned a plan of unique malevolence—to corrupt and control Alathor’s Lifeforce using a specialized living weapon he called "Prism-Conduits."

The Prism-Conduits

Caelumbra's Prism-Conduits were bio-engineered organs capable of channeling raw Lifeforce.   These conduits fractured Lifeforce into elemental energies: Light, Shadow, Fire, Water, Earth, and Air.   His ultimate goal was to enslave sentient beings by linking their consciousness with the Dreaming, tapping into their Soulforce, and ultimately poisoning Alathor’s life-circuit itself.

Defeat and Legacy

The ambitious scheme of Caelumbra was thwarted by the Stewards of Alathor in the legendary confrontation known as "The Great Conflict." Gravely injured, Caelumbra fled in a damaged vessel, ultimately crashing into a remote mountainous region in what would later become Helvania. There, amidst the wreckage, Caelumbra's physical form perished, yet his enormous mind persisted, faintly alive in a fragmented neural mass called "Prism-Fiber."   Centuries later, the inquisitive Pukta discovered this residual Prism-Fiber, unintentionally unlocking its latent abilities. The Pukta, ignorant of its dark origin, integrated fragments into Prism-Cores—a cornerstone of contemporary magi-tech across Alathor.

Current Status

Today, Caelumbra himself is presumed utterly deceased, though his lingering essence and the magi-tech born from his remains continue to influence Alathor profoundly. Caelumbra's name has been deliberately forgotten, his legacy sanitized as mere "old waste crystal," yet the ominous echoes of his existence remain ever-present in Helvania's Prism-powered industries.
