Stormward Tower

The Beginnings

The Tower was built in a different age, one where Divine Beings walked the lands of Godai, and had homes in the high mountains of Godhome Mountains in the centre of continent of Uruish. It was built as a place to learn and train Mages in those times. Constructed in a way that the walls are totally white and smooth to the touch, not a brick or block of stone showing either to the closest investigation. The Tower can only be reach via Golden Gates from the maze that surrounds the tower in all directions. Only those gifted with magic and a sense of honour, would either find the entrance to the Maze, and it required a keen mind to traverse both the maze and to puzzle out the correct Portal to arrive at the doorward to the High Tower.

And the End

Over the last 4,000 years the Tower as been the home of Mages, Sorcerers, Divine Creatures hiding from the punishment of the Titans, and many others. It started as a school, and became a home, and the journey from one to the other is long and twisting and may one day be told in full. But now it is the home of the Justin Stormward, the descendant of the the Pirate Maerhild Stormchaser, and his life partner Henry Ericsson, who he meet on a trip to Zanokar City only 5 years ago, Justin is a recluse not just because of his name but because his partner is 20 years his senior and many noble families gossip about Henry being a golddigger and just wanting to have a easy life. Few people know of the Stormwards home in the forest, and most believe them to live on estates within Zanakor City, like all other High Noble families without lands to run themselves. The Stormwards name was blacken by Maerhild, acts after the Trade Wars, and they lost both power and influence loosing the seat of ruler of Kaladan, but they still control much in the way of Farms and industries across the kingdom, so still have gold to spend, combine that with the families seemly natural gift of magic, Justin as an easy life. But he is curious about his family past and Maerhild's story about the Trident of Isithia in the family diaries of the times.

The Looks

The Tower
The white / grey marble walls are smooth to the touch and vertical straight up 80 feet if not more. Rising to a peak high above those standing at its entrance, of massive Stone doors with silver and gold patterns inlayed in lines that look and feel like arcane sigils to those who would recognise them, but not quite, almost as its another script based on the same root. As you enter though those doors you come into a wide and long corridor that now is nothing more than place to welcome people outside of the weather, but in historical times this was as far as the none mages could come into the tower, and the rooms to either side were used as waiting and offices, an person investigating the walls will noticed bricked up doorways hidden behind paint and paper.   The main true entrance all is 20 feet in height and a Marble statue of Arthas stands with one hand outstretch with a glowing purple ball of pure magic light resting inches above his palm, and a book tuck under his other arm.
