Earring of Whispers

The first Earrings of Whispers were created by Tyrian Akean from the city of Tokjan in the north east of the Imperium. He is both a craftsman and minor spellcaster, and in the future years will become what is know as Artificers, those rare people that combine Technology, Science and Magic into a single craft. There are individuals across the face of Godai who are taking the first steps into these skills. Teshin in the Imperial University, Tyrian in his small shop in Tokjan. Dalgan the Wanderer from Stone Deeps, and many others.
The Earrings of Whispers work as a communication device for groups, Sets of them can be made in numbers of 2 to 12, but rarely do all of them work 100%, so Tyrian makes the sets in larger numbers and test them, destroying anything that isn't a 100% perfect.
His first few sets were sold to Nobusjtu Noble House, who use them to improve communication between the Household Guards. He as yet to start publicising them for sale, but that will come and will be the first step into a craft that he will in the years to become be called one of the founding fathers of.

Looks

Each set of Earrings are unique in looks, but have similar core features, that of a single precious metal construct with a gem. Tyrian creates very functional and simple designs with little embellishment beyond the required symbols required to make them work as intended, behind the gem setting.

Rare Evocation Requires Attunement

The Earrings of Whispers can be used in combat as a bonus action to use the spell Sending with limited targets of other wearings of Earrings of Whispers from the same set within 2 miles of person using the Earring. Outside of combat they can be effectly used as a communication tool between wears of an Earring of the set within 2 miles, with minimal issues. The person talking as to speak out loud, and all recievers heard the message directly into the mind, with the senders voice.
