The aaltumbin, otherwise known as the deep gnomes, live in the plane of earth, living underground and in the dark, pushed them to be more pragmatic and often more grumpy than Gnomes from other places. They endure this live for access to minerals, gemstones, gold, silver and platinum. They mine these as they find them in the tunnels that run thoughout the Plane.
Ancestral Traits
Age: The Aaltumbin reach adulthood at 25, and tend to live till 250, but obviously the tolls and dangers of the Plane of Earth often claim them before their time.
Size: Aaltumbin are between 3 and 4 feet tall and average about 80 to 120 pounds. Your size is Small.

Cultural Traits
The Aaltumbin live in small hidden communties in the depths of the earth plane, as far away from the Dao, Giants and large wyrms as they can be. They often move the communties as they mine out the area they setup in of precious metals and gems.
