Orcs

Largest and strongest of the kin orcs are a people driven by a need to serve a higher purpose. In the past this has been taken advantage of by monstrous and sorcerous monarchs. In the modern day orcs have broken such shackles and seek fulfillment in philosophy or cultural movements, serving a thing greater than themselves. Among orcs it is seen as a point of pride that they will in almost all instances value the ideal or organization over any specific superior. An orc is expected to remove any superior who betrays their organization or ideals. Among other kin however this habit has seen as evidence of orcish savagery. After all how are they a mere mortal meant to live up to an orc's ideals.
Though historically marginalized by world events and politics, the First Gnosis has left orcs as the most wide spread and prosperous kin. The Voice has proven that elves, humans, dwarves, and gnolls can be made just as vulnerable as orcs to magical manipulation, and that their vigilance was not in vain. This moral victory is only small comfort for orcs now embroiled in conflict with the cannibals.
