Tower of Heaven/Palace of Winds

The Tower of Heaven is a mystical tower in Hebra's Mountains whose interior is akin to the inside of a Sheikah Shrine, but frozen over and full of Zonai memorabilia. This is the location of Otto's trial of winds. Sacrifices to the Zonai principles activate the tower. Upon full activation, The Palace of Winds is reached.   The Palace of Winds is a massive floating ruin where the Wind Tribe tried to escape the Zonai and Hyrule's wars. It is extremely cold and windy. Culdwen lurks throughout it.

Purpose / Function

The tower is to test and transform those who want to reach the Palace of Winds. The Palace of Winds was supposed to a place of absolute peace for the Wind Tribe.

Design

The Main spire of the tower will ascend after a number of sacrifices are made to the altars.

Entries

F1
  • S. Grab the Fire of Heaven with either a lantern or bottle to *warp to F3 S. All doors are unlocked.
  • C. Sit down and lay your head on the table and survive the scythes and ice beam to gain a key. All doors are unlocked.
  • M. Doors to F1 W, F1 H, and F1 T are locked. Doors to F1 S, F1 C, and F1 P are unlocked. Stairs ^ascend to F2 M.
  • W. Play the Song of Heaven on the pipe organ. *Warp to F4 W.
  • T. Serve the Golden Fish of Heaven to receive boss key. Serve the fish to *warp to F4 T. Serve the vegetables to *warp to F2 T. Serve both or a combined dish of the food to *warp to F3 T.
  • H. Place in the chests viable objects of heaven to *warp to F2 H. Place a Cucco on the throne to receive a boss key.
  • P. Bring the fairy of the Sheikah Stone some Water of Heaven to get a key.
F2  
  • S. Sleep in the beds to *wake in F2 C. Stairs ^ascend to F3 S. Door leads to M2
  • C. Sleep in the beds to *wake in F2 S. Stairs ^ascend to F3 C. Door leads to M2.
  • M. All doors are always locked from this side. Stairs vdescend to F1 M. 2 sacrifices ^ascend to F3 M.
  • W. Books for the trial in F3 M are here. Door leads to F2 M.
  • T. Ascending *warps to F2 M. Door leads to F2 M.
  • H. ^Ascend to F3 H. Crystal containers are here. Door leads to F2 M.
  • P. Ascending is not possible. Door leads to F2 M.
  F3  
  • S. Light the flames to ^ascend to F4 S. Anoint the statue with open hands with the Oil of Heaven to obtain boss key. Stairs vdescend to F2 C.
  • C. Shoot the targets accurately to ^ascend to F4 C.
  • M. The doors are open. 4 sacrifices ^ascend to F4 M.
  • W. vDescend to F2 W. Ascending is not possible.
  • T. Ascending or Descending *warps to F2 M.
  • H. Light the flames to *warp to F3 P upon entering the circle. ^Ascend to F4 H. vDescend to F2 H.
  • P. ^Ascend to F4 P. vDescend to F2 P.
    F4  
  • S. Light the hearth to *fall to F2 S.
  • C. The Oil of Heaven is here. Stairs vdescend to F3 C.
  • M. 6 Sacrifices and the Boss Keys to *warp to Palace of Winds.
  • W.Thaw the Koi of Heaven to vdescend to F3 W. The chest has a key.
  • T. Descending *warps to F2 M. Removing The Song of Heaven blocks the stairs. The portal *warps to F2 W.
  • H. Descend to F3 H. Water of Heaven is here.
  • P. Light the flames and pour a potion of power to receive a Cucco. vDescend to F3 P.

Wolfos, Cucco, Ice keese, Ice Chuchu, White Boe, Pengators, Snurgles, Culdwen, Otto, and various other flying monsters.

Contents & Furnishings

Info for the Mystery. There are two answers: the complicated one involving the dead king, or the not so complicated one involving the Cucco.     F1  
  • P. The library has notes that detail the shortcoming of the false leader.

  • W. The books in clusters of three have a single page, and the page leaves a blank place for an answer. There are three books for each of these questions: Who was the victim? What befell them? How did this happen?. The books in clusters of two simply have the answer of either Yes or No. There are two books for each of those answers.
  • H. The crystalline vessels for making the poisons are here.
  • P. The lab for making the poison.
    F3  
  • S. The remains of the man are here. The statues all look like the same man, but the smashed ones depict him with wings like that of the goddess and like a king.
  • M. The court for the trial of heaven. Present the books with questions and answers. Complete the trial of heaven to obtain hero tokens.
