The Chariot of Kings

The Chariot of Kings is a tradition for crowning kings, or sometimes for royal marriage. When a King is to be crowned, he will be transported by the Chariot of Kings around the city so civilians will be able to see the new king. This chariot is made mostly out black wood, the most expensive and hardy wood of the realms. The parts of the chariot is reinforced with copper and some gold. Do to the chariot mostly made out of black wood, it is very light comparing to other chariots. The materials the chariot is made of make it extremely expensive. The Chariot of Kings is sometimes used for transportation for a royal marriage, mostly in the royal bloodline. The couple will be transported around the city after their marriage ceremony. This chariot is owned by the king and can be lended to whom ever the king wishes to lend. The construction of the chariot was funded by the lords of the realm, who formed the first Council of the Realms, as a gift for the first king of the continent.

The chariot is not moved by power, but by steads, mainly two horses.

There are no weapons attached as it is for the king to sit in.

The chariot is equipped with a shield to block arrows and artilleries incase the king is attacked.
