History:
The first reports of the masked serpents guild were around the year 3300. A general of the old Theonin kingdom who was at war with the Darfex, managed to stop an assassin trying to kill him in his sleep. He defeated the assassin and interrogated him for hours. Reports say the general discovered two things, that the assassin belonged to the masked serpent guild, and that they were hired by the Darfex empire. After that the reports indicates the assassin killed himself.
Throughout history more and more assassinations were linked to the masked serpent guild, causing the guild to become one of the more known assassin guilds in the world. But it was never discovered where the guilds headquarters are, who leads them or how they recruit new members.
In 3523 17 people in different continents all over the world were assassinated at the same time, all killed by members of the masked serpents. Why this was done is still unknown, but the guild made sure that everyone knew it was them.

Known goals and plans:
Their plans and ultimate goals are unknown. Just like everything else about them, the guild is shrouded in mystery. But one thing is known for sure, they can be hired.
There is one faction that seems to deal the most with assassination attempts and who seem to have been able to survive the most as well, The Judicators . The members of The Judicators often fight for the right of the people and make powerful enemies. Enemies willing to pay to have their opposition eliminated.
