Tiranwyn
During the cataclysmic God Wars, a variety of elven clans, are believed to have fought to protect Tiranwyn from opposing forces, to ensure none would reach the Galarpos Mountains and by extension make their way to Priffdinas in which Seren allegedly called home. While many of Seren's forces amidst The God Wars were believed to be elves, she often also used a variety of wild animals in her army as well and some historical records have suggested that some of the Brimstail Gnomes fought alongside her as well. Many of Seren's forces through The God Wars did not stretch far in land as she often denounced the fighting between The Gods, and would only ever defend her land if needed.
However due to Seren's complacency, Basilikos, whom was based in the Feldip Hills would eventually cut his way through Tiranwyn and commanded the majority of the Western Side of Siridia including both Kandarin, and Trollweiss. With Seren refusing fight against Basilikos he was able to freely control this land for many centuries uncontested as he slowly built up his army to unleash on Eastern Siridia. With the destruction of the Elven settlements in Tiranwyn, it's believed that many of the elves would escape back to Priffdinas, while others would seek to travel inland further, hoping to find haven elsewhere. It's believed that after the destruction of Tiranwyn, a great divide was driven between many of the various Elven clans, with some looking to regroup with Seren, and others feeling abandoned by her decision to not take any offensive action against Basilikos. The elves that chose to abandon Seren are believed to be the primary ancestors of most modern day elves, stemming from the Elven clan of Cadarn, which likely played the role of the main militaristic force of the Third Age elves.
As the ages passed, and the remaining elves having already spread across the world, a faction of them would gravitate towards the Brimstail Glade, a city made up largely of Gnomes. The Brimstail Gnomes were believed to have been allies to the elves through the God Wars; though with mixed feelings towards Seren, some elves would find a solace in being with old allies. With the aid of the Brimstail Gnomes some elves hoped to return to Tiranwyn in hopes of rebuilding elements of their old settlements to hopefully create a new home for elves to come back to. However the Elves and the Gnomes would meet with a lot of push back from the Kandarin Government, believing that Tiranwyn was officially property of the Kingdom of Kandarin, and it was not there right to begin rebuilding. While still a hotly debated topic, Ardougne had gone out of it's way to ensure that no construction would happen within Tiranwyn by any parties. This was a conflict that went back and forth for almost a century but ultimately Ardougne would stand strong; and lacking a substantial militaristic power to match that of Ardougne, the elves and the Brimstail Gnomes would be forced to give up on ever rebuilding the old settlements.
In the late years of the Fourth Age into the Fifth Age, Siridians would begin to look to reclaim land from dangerous monsters for societal progression, this often led to bounties being put on a variety of monsters, and entire species being wiped out to make room for new cities to be built. Dragon's would fall into this category as not only were small numbers of dragons controlling large territories, their hide was a valuable material for the crafting of armour, and their bones for weapons. A Siridian war on dragon's would soon arise and many of the dragons whom up till this age were largely peaceful, would rapidly succumb to massive bands of mercenary groups looking to claim large bounties on the dragons. The Siridian Dragons, fearing for their lives found that they needed to unite together, otherwise they would all likely be slain. As their homes would be ravaged and destroyed, they would soon look for a new home, and would eventually come to the abandoned woods of Tiranwyn. Many dragons whom only wish to live peaceful lives have taken up haven in dens all across the Tiranwyn Forest. With the larger concentration of dragon population, many Siridians have found it difficult to earn the bounties on the dragons, and for many have abandoned the idea of hunting dragons in favor of keeping their life. As of late there have been increased sighting of dragons in the skies high above Kandarin, some scholars have suggested that they may be watching Siridians carefully and possibly looking to enact a revenge in the coming years. This has led many Kandarins to be very cautious of Tiranwyn.
