Menaphos

The south-western reaches of Siridia leads to an extensive desert peninsula known as "Menaphos". Amidst The God Wars, this was the nation that Ourokaza first had his followers construct Jaldoracht, a titanic pyramid that would act as his central stronghold until the final hours of The God Wars. The nations history is a bloody one as many of its early settlers would reject the presence of Ourokaza for many centuries. It was only through the continuous assault of Ourokaza's demonic forces that the first age Menaphites, would eventually succumb to his rule.   Two notable cities that attempted to resist the influence of Ourokaza were the cities of Uzer, and Ullek. Uzer was located close to the far southern point of Menaphos but was also the closest settlement to Jaldoracht. Due to the proximity, Uzer would be the first to fall, and it's people were utterly massacred for refusing servitude. The city of Uzer became a city made up entirely of demon's that would eventually form the backbone of Ourokaza's army. Ullek, a city further east at the time was primarily a Lehranist city and acted as a forward outpost for Lehran through the early days of The God Wars. One of the first large scale battles of The God Wars took place over Ullek, as Lehran and Ourokaza would continuously battle over the land for 854 days. Thammaron, one of the more notable generals of Ourokaza would be the one to finally end the conflict as he grew tired of the never ending battles over a single city, and he unleashed magic that had levelled the city, and left only a chasm. Lehran's army and his followers were all immediately reduced to ash. Though this wasn't the outcome Ourokaza had hoped for, it was a victory nonetheless.   The Ullek Chasm still exists to in the modern age and has acted as a natural defence against the still surging demonic forces within Uzer. While much of the demonic blood has mixed with other races, the demonic blood that comes from Uzer is regarded as some of the potent as they were amongst the strongest lifeforms in Ourokaza's army. They have since reclaimed Jaldoracht as their own and continue to build their society of demons on the southern side of Ullek.   Due to The God Wars, a very strange weather phenomena referred to as "The Galvanic Winds" spread at the start of the Third Age. Electrically charged winds that have been known to kill many unprepared lifeforms. For many years the Menaphites lived in fear of these winds and had built their cities into sides of mountains or underground to avoid the Galvanic Winds. The winds would often bring with them "Galvin Rays" a flying manta ray like creature that commanded an array of lightning based capabilities. The Galvin Rays quickly became the top predator of Menaphos and forced the Menaphites into frequent hiding.   However, in the Fifth Age due to the recent technological advancements made by Dwarven engineers that they brought to Siridia, the Menaphites seemed to posses a knack for working with the machinery they created. The Menaphites began to harness the raw power of the Galvanic Winds to further enhance their machinery. This would mark the first creation of metal automatons, that the Menaphites called "Tarazeds". The production of Tarazeds and advancement of their capabilities rapidly progressed at rates none would think possible and in the modern day, the city of Nardah, is considered by many to one of the most technologically advanced cities within Siridia. Nardah began to fashion Tarazeds in form of ferocious beasts that would prowl the Menaphosian Desert, to hunt and gather resources for them. An extremely wide array of Tarazeds have been created with a multitude of purposes and many citizens of Nardah enjoy a comfortable lifestyle as much of their life has now become fully automated. Nardah now gifts the world with brilliant minds in the form of engineers who continuously push the Tarazed technology to new heights. The technology is often met with uncertainty by many across Siridia, as many do not trust the massive mechanical beasts to consistently perform without malfunction, and believe constructs of this size shouldn't be mass produced to avoid misuse.   As time progressed, the demonic forces in Uzer would learn of the Tarazeds and begin to capture and study the Tarazeds. The Tarazeds up to this point, never had magic used in the creation, as they were solely mechanical based. The Uzerians would soon affix the Tarazeds with demonic energies and have accumulated a significant force of now fully autonomous demonic mechanical monstrosities known as "The Cor Hydrin". Territorial disputes occasionally arise, but the Uzerians have yet to launch full scale assaults with extensive use of Cor Hydrin. After other Siridian settlements refused to use the Tarazeds, and having many of them stolen by Uzerians, Nardah grew more cautious with the use Tarazeds, and now refuse to allow other nations to benefit from them.
