Etceteria, The Lunar Isle
The inhabitants of Etceteria are explicitly women whom are all powerful diviners and possess unique magics. The Etceterians do not have a formal government system, and do not consider any one of them to have power over another. The closest thing to a "ruler" they have is a powerful seer, known as the Oneiromancer, who possess a deep level of knowledge of magic and often takes it upon herself to teach the young the ways of their lifestyle. Being a tribe of strictly women, has led many to question how they have continued to produce offspring, and thrive as a collective, but the Etceterians claim it to be a tribal secret, and refuse to share.
They are a peaceful tribe that doesn't wish to engage in any active fighting. While the Etceterians themselves possess little combat capabilities they have a unique relationship with the the surrounding wild life which have acted as a natural protection against attackers. The "Suqah" which are believed to be distant relatives of trolls have lived on Etceteria before it fell into the ownership of the Etceterians. The Etceterians developed a symbiotic relationship by providing to them a large share of the food and supplies they produce in exchange for security. The relations between the Etceterians has grown over the years and in the modern day, the two are considered to be close allies. A common myth is that that the Etceterians have been forced to "pay" for their protection and are kept as pseudo prisoners by the Suqah, but this has been proven false by the Etceterians as the two have a mutual positive relationship.
The unique magics that the Etceterians have developed are strictly designed to not be able to inflict harm to another being. Instead the magics have been focused on being able to protect their produce from the harsh cold climates, and rapidly speeding up it's growth. Other uses to name only a few have included the ability to rapidly tan leathers bypassing the normal time consuming process, the ability to cook and prepare meals, the crafting of buildings and tools with little effort. The Etceterians are not one's to take kindly to guests though. It is common practice for them to "kindly" refuse entry to their city to any wayward visitors, often times leaving them to freeze to death outside the front gates of the city if they aren't killed by The Suqah.
