Ashdale

Currently led by Lord Gudrik, a dwarven man, the citizens of Ashdale have enjoyed a life of mostly peace and prosperity, and it's common for people across Siridia to travel to Ashdale seeking a calm life. Likened to the island of Entrana- "but without the tourists", Ashdale does occasionally still see some tourism for those wishing to see the arcane monument known as The Battle of Rinnatan. Rinnatan was a well known World Guardian prior to his death in the latter years of the Fourth Age, most known for his proficiency with a excessively large golden scythe that he would use to cull his enemies.   Prior to Rinnatan single-handedly purging the island of Ashdale of The Crassian, it had become a hatchery for The Crassian, injecting hundreds of Crassian lifeforms into the world everyday. Female Crassians are very rare to be born, popping up only once every century- sometimes longer. A single female Crassian can be estimated to create well over 70,000 eggs in it's lifetime. However Female Crassians also have a very short lifespan often only living for several months whereas male Crassian are believed to be able to live well over 100. So when one does come into existence, it is regarded as a threat as the Crassian population will likely skyrocket. 400 years ago on Ashdale, 4 female Crassians had been born simultaneously, creating a wave of Crassian being born at a rate that was previously thought impossible.   Rinnatan, travelled to the island hoping to purge the Crassian, as he feared that due to the population increasing at an unprecedented rate could lead to conflicts on surrounding nations. While the exact events of what Rinnatan did on the island are unknown, there are stories that he would slay dozens Crassian with one swing of his scythe and he would carve through their ranks with high speed leaving dismembered Crassians in his wake. After slaying the four females, he tracked down the leader of the Crassian named Agoroth. In a climactic battle against Agoroth on the cliff tops of Ashdale, Agoroth would be slain, and soon the thousands of other Crassian would flee to ocean. However in the final battle, Rinnatan was mortally injured. After severing the tentacles from Agoroth, they still moved, and one managed to pierce Rinnatan through his heart. He fell and with no companions at his side to aid him, would soon pass away. The location of his death is the central point for where the monument to him stands. The monument itself is hundreds of enchanted statues of Rinnatan and Crassians, as well as Agoroth that slowly move over the course of the day depicting Rinnatan locked in heated combat with the forces of the Crassian. Rinnatan is seen as the hero of Ashdale, and without his efforts its likely that the Crassian forces at Ashdale would have likely caused some global issues, the effects of which could have even been felt to this day.
