Black Magga

A monstrous powerful creature of dangerous intelligence that was once locked behind an ancient dam.
During the Return of the Runelords, the Black Magga has been unleashed upon the Chanomi river.  It began a reign of terror upon Uyo, Harcourt, Barrowmista, and any boats with the poor luck of catching its attention.
It took the full might of the Knights of the Silver Horn to face the creature, and most of the paladin order was destroyed in the battle. It is unknown if the Black Magga died that day, but it has not been reported in over a year.
However, other odd monsters have been since in the river since that day, and they are often referred to as the "Children of the Magga".
