The Lady of Pain

The Lady of Pain is the the ruling entity of the city of Sigil. Nothing is known of her, and she does not speak. However, certain things can be gleaned; she does not permit worship of herself, though this hasn't stopped people from acknowledging her existence when crossing an unknown threshold, as all doors can potentially lead to her realm; she died not allow any god or deities into her city, and no god so far has been able to challenge this successfully; she does not leave her city, but whether for personal reasons or she's imprisoned, none know.  She appears as a tall woman, white as powder, draped in a robe and gown made of metal and knives.
