Lost Faeruun
In fair Ghemjana the heart of Cenembra
When air was wild and the fae were free
No man placed steps on the lands without law
And the wee folk played under the Mother Tree
Down from the halls was the Dark Lord cast
The rebellious fallen, the haughty and cursed
Bringer of pain, Necrodaga the last
Son of the gods and father of all perversed
Woe! Shame and calamity of worms
Fair Ghemjana, brought low by his blight
The fae have retreated and the Mother Tree burns
The evermoon gives way to a forest of night
Insipid violator he prowls and pretends
While the goddess weeps at her heart
The men of the earth he had made friends
And all our trees and woods he has spoiled assart.
Does no one weep for the fallen fae?
We last remnants of the golden summers
Last of our kind, the elves hold the true way
As the leaves are burned by mortal newcomers
