MP-145 Tegu (Tee-goo)

The Tegu is the first submachine gun to enter service with the Republican military. It has a finely crafted design and is known for how comfortable it is to shoot. It has greater accuracy an power than its competitor, the MP-245 Apis, but lacks in regards of sustained fire. It has been largely phased out in favor of the Apis due to it's comparatively expensive production and complex inner workings. Tegus can still be found on the battlefields of Ghala mostly in the hands of mercenaries and bandits. Chambered in 45. ACP and fires from a 20 round magazine.   2d6 piercing per attack (6 bullets per attack)   +2 on attack rolls   Can use 2 modifications (sight, ammunition)   Range: 150 ft effective 600 Ft max

Mechanics & Inner Workings

The Tegu uses a straight blowback action to fire 400 rounds per minute.

Significance

The Tegu served as a proof of concept for the idea of a macine gun that fired subsonic pistol caliber rounds. It servered early in the Fourth Crusade, but has since become associated with organized crime as several gangs have adopted the Tegu.
