The Dreadeye is an old beast of a rifle. This single shot weapon renown for its impressive stopping power and long range capabilites. This rifle served as the main weapon for Republic forces prior to the Manitou's adoption. Though it was cutting edge at the time of its adoption, it is outdated by modern standards. Significance

The Dreadeye was the main sercice rifle for the Republican Army during Operation Mamba as well as the Myrra War. It's design set the precedent for future weapons and showed the world that cartridge based firearms would dominate the battlefields of the future.
