Annexation of the Republic of Erintrel by the Sàrène Republic.

Though founded at the same time, the two republics faced markedly different paths. Founded by Flaìntrës Magralei, a former Imperial Bureaucrat, the Sàrène Republic focused on central authority rebuilding local iterations of imperial institutions, such as a Bureau of Levies to collect taxes efficiently, a Treasury modeled on the Royal Treasury of Soren, and a Canal Authority to oversee the maintenance and operation of canals in the Republic.   The Republic of Erintrel had far more ideologically-driven origins. Brae Yogrò̯ndà, the driving force behind it's creation, wrote a Republic Charter that severly restricted the authority of the Erintrene Senate, made the bar for consensus in the senate hard to reach, and placed the competing local interests of the Je'thor Councils at a political level equal to that of the Senate. Marked by 184 years of ineffiency, unrest, and stagnation relative to the rest of Felora, the Erintrene Senate requested annexation of the entire Republic to the more prosperous Sàrene Republic. With the Treaty of Erin and the passing of reciprocal acts of union by the Erintrene and Sàrène Senates, the Republic of Erintrel ceased to exist.
