Undercommon

Undercommon is a term used to refer to a group of Dwarvish-influenced creole languages of the Underdark. They are all based on a substratum of Dwarvish, with various ethnic words, phrases, and grammar grafted in. There is a wide variety in the language, existing on a spectrum from proper Dwarvish serving as a sort of acrolect to a number of divergent basilects.  

Acrolect (Dwarvish)

Transliteration: Gharet Taleqliwot zahym'abatch degizon
Pronunciation: [ʁɑɾɛt taɫɛqɫiwɔt zɑhəmˠʔɑbɑtʃʰ dɛgizɔnˠ]
Translation: Taleqliw knows the place very well.

Mesolect

Text: Տալքլիւ ղառետ զամաբաճ ֆ(ը)տ դեգին
Transliteration: Talqliwt gharyt zam'abac fyt deging
Pronunciation:[ɣ/ʁaɾət talqliʋ(t) za(ː)m(ʔ)abatʃ fət dɛ/əʇ/dʒiŋ]
Translation: Talqliw know place damn good!

Basilect

Text: Զառլին տալկլիվ(տ) զաբած կաբ(ը)ն(ձ/ջ)ւմ լ(ը)
Transliteration: Zarlin Talklir(t) zambac kabyn(j)um l(y)
Pronunciation: [zaɾl/ʎiŋ talkliɹʷ zambatʃ/ts kabə̃dʒum lə]
Translation: Talqliw know zarlin kabunjum luh!
