Taminil

Taminil is a language spoken by the Taminil people in the northern highlands of Eussis.

Phonology

In contrast to Vallaran, which retained the labiovelars and , Taminil, along with the other Altic languages, coalesced them into labial stops: *kʷ > p and *gʷ > b, similar to Havrian and the Tira Vellic languages. Taminil does possess the letter Q, used only in loanwords from Vallaran and Varaso, pronouncing it with the consonant sequence kw, indicating borrowing was occuring at least from Vallaran.
