Sordeans are ruled by women in most of their culture and the triple monarchy of three thrones is for women only, when an Ancient full breed seeks out a Sordean (normally a very young adult warrior, a male) they will occupy the Ivory Throne as the only male in a high leadership position. When this occurs, every Elder Invoker and Invoker will gather in the City of Dreams to imbue energy into the three thrones (Jade, Sapphire and Ruby) so the light from the thrones will shine on the Ivory Throne turning it into pure white light. In all the times the Ivory Throne has been inhabited there as been great turmoil in Genivan; wars, famines and plagues.
