The royal family will inherit the throne unless the family dies off or ends up being terrible monarchs (this can happen more frequently than the family dying off) then a new family (wealthy with ancient lineages) will be elected by both councils but this creates huge tensions because the Divine Lumis does not agree with the Summer Council on which wealthy family to elect.
