Preservers of Maisk School

All Gideans are required for 1 year (on their 16th birthday) to be trained by Diadems mostly and occasionally Elders, they are taught how to speak to sea creatures (aquatic animals), heal sickness, disease and find those who can electrify metal and heal injuries. In their legends it is said the greatest healer Maisk healed the most dangerous sea creature and gave them language to speak with all sea creatures. All Gideans have an innate power to heal disease and sickness (very minor healing that is innate) but the easiest to awaken is healing sickness. During this year Diadems observe (or Elders) to find the healers of injuries (15%) and those who can electrify metal (20%). Once Gideans have learned rudimentary healing of sickness and disease, most women will go back to society (some will stay on to be healers in the Legion) and men will go to their 4 years of duty in the Legion of Shiverbane.
