Jondorian Bane

(1-3%) know when they have this self-sacrificing ability, it is not trained, nor is it acquired in youth or great age; sometimes they know years in advance and have premonitions of who they may save and other times the magic will suddenly come upon them in the moment it is needed. Zarythians know what the word Bane actually means but they embraced the title because they know (and the ones saved) what a Bane really is; a Zarythian who gave their life for another. (This ability is not used for other Zarythians often but a Zarythian who has this ability will travel on a death pilgrimage to find who they must save)
