Gidean
Eyes green any shade and can change to hazel rarely but there is always enough green to identify, hair is green any shade.
Average height 5ft but no shorter than 4 ½ ft, shortest Tribe. Live around 80-100 years, maturity 16 years, fertility is 20 years and sterility is mostly upon death but averages about 90 years old. They have 5-7 children per family, occasionally 8 but never more, can birth twins and triplets on super rare occasions. They have the highest infant mortality and birthing difficulties. Greatest immune systems, moderate strength, speed and endurance. Their agility is a close match to Eons but on land it is not. Poorest eyesight on Genivan except underwater (any water).
Gideans have the most rigid hierarchy of all the Tribes, they are more of a warrior Tribe than any other because of the dangers of the oceans and seas they live in.
All Gideans live in the oceans of Genivan, they birth their babies in the water and if they do not, mother and child will die. They can only mate in the oceans as well. The skin of Gideans when it comes into contact with any water; ocean, sea, river or lake (all the water is the same on Genivan) their skin will turn a holographic light green with holographic looking scales. This is an exoskeleton that toughens their skin, makes them heavier and almost impervious to being cut or stabbed. Their eye sight under water is better than even the aquatic animals and they can see at night under water but not above land, their vision is the worst at night on land (vision is worse than any tribe on land even during the day, it’s why they term the above lands Shadowlands). At night underwater, their eyes take on a slight glow and their skin.
All Gideans can grow with magic plants underwater (some of the largest sea plants requires training but the food they grow underwater to sustain them, all can grow with magic), above water requires training. No Gidean can die from being poisoned or eating food that is rotten. They cannot survive long above water, Gideans must return home after a few months, Elders 6-8 months and 2 years for Diadems. They can also go for two weeks without water and a month without food (all Gideans).
