Travel Agents Organization in Genetic | World Anvil

Travel Agents

The Travel Agents is a witch's coven on Genetic.   They are lead by a Head Matron, who runs the group and reprimands those that send people on trips they are not prepared for or cannot handle. She is aided by the Map Stars, a group of three of the strongest agents who run the cartography sections for the group along with taking notes on other dimensions. They are supported, in turn, by Planet Casters, veteran Agents who are experienced in manipulating space-time through magic. Beneath them are Agents, those who have a solid grip on the business of manipulating space-time, and who train the Practice Agents who are still learning the ropes of the Travel Agents' magic.   This coven works directly with the wormholes that open over Genetic, one of two known refugee worlds within the galactic territory.

History

A small coven came to Genetic through a tragic wormhole several hundred years ago. The coven established themselves, the first generation of the coven dedicating their lives to the pursuit of destroying ignorance through travel. They started with a single building, performing their rituals and spells on the roof. As more witches sought to join them they expanded and began to build the rest of the compound.  In the current century, they have several mischievous agents that tend to interrupt the travels of various beings that visit the coven's compounds.
