Oracle

An Oracle is a being with future seeing ability. Any race or creature can be one from a world leader to a tiny leapfrog. No one has been able to explain the mystery of the Oracles why they exist where they come from or the selection process if there even is one. There are always 2 Oracles alive at any given time. The moment one dies another creature that is about to be born is given the power of the oracle. Oracles are most powerful in their future seeing ability in their earliest years of infancy from the age of birth to 2 years a young Oracle has unlimited future seeing ability but is unable to communicate their seeings to others. And of course, if it is a creature incapable of speech or mental ability to understand their seeings they are able to communicate them or make much use of them except through their own benefit. When an oracle is young their future seeing ability is not specific and can be anything they wish to see the future of in that moment but as they age their ability of future seeing is more specfic. Some who wish to use the oracle have tried to speed their aging artificially so are developed enough to understand and communicate their seeing at their most powerful. All attempts to do this have failed. After they get through their most powerful stat of being past the age of 2 years their future seeing is narrowed down to something more specific. Each oracle's future seeing ability is different once they get older. Just like everybody is shaped by their surroundings and the people they are near so are oracles. If an oracle has an astrologist for a parent for example and they are close their future seeing ability will develop to only be able to tell the future of celestial bodies. If they are raised by a master general they will be able to see the future of any battlefield they are placed in. Oracles are often manipulated into developing into something that can be useful. If someone wants an oracle with the ability to see the future of something specific they will be forced to be around that subject and hopefully develop into being able to see that subjects future whether it be a person, many people, nature, or objects anything at all. In the past, a scientist named Elias Cohen made his son which was an Oracle be around the brightest minds of science. His son developed into an oracle that could see future advancements in science and technology his father then used that to his advantage to discover those things before others to gain fame and notoriety. A General by the name of Krurl Jodavaz found an oracle and forced him to attend every war meeting and be around strategist and play nothing but war games and only read books about battle strategies and war tactics. General Krurl went Even further he used this Oracle to win many battles and conquer many nations but he realized how powerful of a weapon this oracle was and so he cut out his tongue and created a secret language that only he and his most trusted allies could understand and taught it to this Oracle. So that if he was captured he could not use his abilities against the general and his army. This Oracle could only speak in a language of war and never learned words such as kindness and love. Despite the fact that there are always 2 oracles at any given time somehow the universe makes it so one oracle is always old and near death while another is young and still new to life. Most people of power that know about oracles actively seek them out and try to find both and have the elder teach the younger oracle how to use their ability. Because many oracles are used they often hate the world and will find ways to destroy it or at least the ones that made them develop the way they did.
