Crilum
Crilum is a very strong metal material with relative strength and durability to reinforced steel. It is known for its light tan color, its high cost to produce, and its strange properties when introduced to various liquid chemicals. Crilums most unique feature is being able to become a softer or harder metal material when it comes into contact with various liquid chemicals. Crilum in its softer form has a texture similar to silk cloth while retaining its strong durability in this state. While in this softer state, Crilums weight remains the same but is more easily moveable and also similar to silk cloth. To put Crilum into this softer state a liquid chemical must make contact with it. To return Crilum to its hard state a different liquid chemical can be applied to it. These liquid chemicals are difficult to manufacture and are almost as expensive as Crilum itself. For this reason, Crilum's feature in becoming a softer or harder metal material is not often utilized.
- Common uses: Crilum is used to create weapons and armor. Crilums ability to become soft allows the user to put a weapon into a relatively safe state. Alternatively, for armor, it allows the user to move more freely when the crilum is in a softer state.
- Other uses: Used in structures or items that need flexibility or that are changed into different shapes often.
