Menis

Menis is a primal force that resides within all living beings. It is sometimes described as rage, zeal, fury, passion, or mania. Individuals that are able to tap into this force to augment their own abilities in combat are known as Barbarians. The term barbarian does not refer to the lifestyle or civility of the individual, but rather to the savagery and viciousness they exude when tapping into this internal power source.
Menis is not dissimilar to Ki, another form of life energy that is utilized by certain monastic orders. However, where users of Ki practice discipline and learn control, Barbarians tend to let themselves run untethered when tapping into their inner rage.
