Black Scrolls

Legends say the scrolls were created by Olidammara, The God of Trickery. No one knows for sure why he created them. Did he have a purpose in mind or merely sowing chaos? There are five scrolls in total. Through delicate rituals, the Black Scrolls have the ability to steal divine attributes from a god. Each scroll steals a certain attribute from the god; Vigor, Body, Mind, Chord, Spirit. There are many legends surrounding these artifacts and every few hundred years one will appear and be fought over. Nations have been scrubbed from the world in pursuit of one the Scrolls. A few stories tell of how a mortal have gained divine power through them but scholars all agree none of the stories can be verified. Many people believe they are nothing but myth and superstition.
