7 Rings of the Mountain

The Seven Rings of the Mountain is an ancient myth among dwarves. The goes, Moradin created the seven rings for the first seven dwarf brothers he created. He gifted them the rings to help them build a home in the rough mountains and defend themselves from evil creatures. For many centuries, the brothers used the rings to bring abundance and riches to their people. As the populations of the dwarves grew and their mountain home could no longer contain them, the seven brothers formed the Seven Dwarven Clans and went out into the world. Each clan taking one of the rings and passing down the original bloodline. Over the centuries, the rings were lost and forgotten in history.
