- One random minor beneficial property and one random minor detrimental property.
- The wielder knows Abyssal, Elvish, and Undercommon.
- The wielder gains darkvision up to a range of 60 feet. If they already have darkvision, it is extended by this same distance.
- The wielder gains a climbing speed equal to their walking speed and can move across vertical surfaces and ceilings without using their hands. They also cannot be caught in webs and can move through them as if they are difficult terrain.
- The wielder has a +1 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this weapon.
- As an action, the blade can be coated with poison, which remains for one minute or until an attack with the rapier lands. The struck creature must succeed on a Constitution saving throw (DC 13) or be poisoned for one hour. If they fail by five or more, they fall unconscious until they take damage or are roused.
- One additional random minor beneficial property and one additional random minor detrimental property.
- The bonus to attack and damage rolls increases to +2.
- The poison's DC becomes 15.
- The wielder may cast the following spells once until the next dawn with a DC 15 save: Cloudkill, Darkness, Levitate, and Web.
- One random major beneficial property.
- The bonus to attack and damage rolls increases to +3.
- The DC for the poison and spells becomes 17.
- The darkvision can see through magical darkness.
- As a bonus action while in dim light or darkness, the wielder can teleport up to 60 feet to another spot that is also in dim light or darkness. This cannot be repeated until the next dawn.
