Feast of the Honorable
History
The Feast of the Honorable was celebrated as far back as the early Second Age, when the benevolent metallic dragons protected much of the known world. It was celebrated by both those very dragons as well as the elves that they protected. During the mid-to-late Second Age, the Giant Empire overran much of Lanora and Enyedell, which led to great war and distraction from celebration. Many enslaved elves were punished for shows of faith towards any of their deities, so the practices were slowly lost overtime.
At the end of the Second Age, with the Night of the Falling Stars bringing the time of the giants to a close and the time of giantforged humanoids to the forefront, the celebration slowly began to return through the practices of the dragons. Throughout much of the Third and Fourth Age, the festival was celebrated almost exclusively by metallic dragons, since the elves had forgotten their draconic protectors and returned to the worship of Corellon, Sehanine, Melora, and even Lolth in extreme cases. In the Fifth Age, once the nation of Taria came to be ruled by Margrave Moritz Faulhauber, the Feast was instituted as a national holiday across the nation.

Execution
The Feast of the Honorable, originally, was a celebration in reverence of the Platinum Dragon and his protection of dragonkind. Metallic dragons from all over the world would gather in small communities to pray and appreciate the guidance of their creator. Nowadays, in the nation of Taria, it is simultaneously a religious celebration to Bahamut, but also a celebration of dragonkind, specifically metallic dragonkind, and their protection over the country and its people. The citizens of Taria gather in their homes to pay tribute of good food and small metallic trinkets to Bahamut and the many metallic dragons across the nation.
Some Elves who are devoted to their family histories still celebrate the Feast of the Honorable as a memorial ceremony in honor of their ancestors that fell while under the protection of the Platinum Dragon, as well as to the dragons that fought to protect their people from the Giants.

Observance
The ceremony takes place on the 17th of Sarisia each year, in honor of the day that Bahamut is said to have created the Metallic Dragons in the First Age.
