The Famished One

The Vampire lord Darvin, The famished is worshiped by cannibals, drow, and of course, vampires. His unholy symbol is a blood-red, fanged skull, embossed with runes. Darvin was a member of the adventuring party the Company of the Broken Soliloquy, when he was turned by Gadir. Darvins blood lust grew over time as he and his companions sought to stop Orcus and Vecna from fulfilling their evil plot.  Darvins last grasp at humanity was lost when his party broke apart due to the traitorous acts of the Lich Fenris. Darvin Left the group and embraced the gift Gadir had bestowed upon him and laid waste to village after village, town after town. It was until the Vox in an act that ascended him to godhood, he banished Darvin to the Abyss. Darvin seeks his retribution and to return to the material plane and bring forth the dawn of the Vampire.

Tenets of Faith

Darvin's dogma, like the deity, is split, involving both a hunger for sophistication and debauchery and a terrible, insatiable lust for blood and violence. Darvin cares not what race or pattern serves him, preferring loyalty and faith. The blood is the essence of most of the rites and rituals, preservation of the vampiric bloodline.

Divine Goals & Aspirations

Darvin may not be the subtlest of the deities but that is not to say that he does not have goals and ambitions to fulfill beyond seeing blood spilled in his name. His rage may be endless, his fury immutable, but Darvin has a savage intelligence, seeing the need to lay seeds for his destructive plans to pay off in the future.

Physical Description

General Physical Condition

In his preferred form, Darvin, a seductive man who usually takes the appearance of either a Human or a Half-Elf. Darvin personifies a connoisseur of the finer things in life. He savors blood as others savor wine, and has a deep interest in the most debased art forms of the planes. More specifically, blood shaping, a long lost art dating back to the time of the first vampires. Many rooms of his home "Firecam Mansion", are formed of living blood sculptures consisting of eternal flows scented by opiates and alkaloids. Darvin keeps the sculptures as much for his own interest as he does to put on ostentatious displays for the lesser vampires he holds court over.
