Borek Ironsaddle
Borek Ironsaddle, known as "The Unbreakable", is the gruff yet charismatic owner of the Iron Hoof Tavern in Steeds Crossing. Once a highly respected Ashguard Rider, Borek was forced into early retirement after sustaining a severe leg injury in a skirmish along the Trail of Ash. Despite leaving the battlefield, his loyalty to his comrades never wavered. In 4754 AoU, after the passing of his father, he took over the Iron Hoof Tavern, expanding it into the favored gathering place for the elite cavalry of Steeds Crossing.
Borek is a burly man with a thick beard and a booming voice, known for his rough exterior but warm heart when it comes to his fellow Riders. He treats the tavern like a fortress, ensuring it remains a sanctuary for veterans and new recruits alike. Always ready with a story, a drink, or advice, Borek embodies the spirit of the Ashguard Riders.
