Typhis' Tears

Long ago a titan by the name of Typhis was killed by a man with a powerful artifact weapon. This resulted in a great and powerful flood, torrential down pours, tsunamis that where as tall as mountains sweeping across the globe. This event marked the end of civilization as it was known at the time but gave birth to a new civilization that must start again. This event resulted in the entire water system and raised the ocean levels for centuries to come. This also created a powerful whirlpool called the Decent at the site of the death which to this day continues to sink ships and kill unsuspecting travelers. A powerful mage found a way to activate the innate power of the titans power through magic to create restorative waters. It is theorized that the titans body has become one with the water of the world from the day of its death onward. The changes to the very water have had other effects in the world as well, creating strange elementals of water, spirits of rain, and horrors of the depth. The loss of the elemental does still leave a wound on the world as water must now obey mundane laws of nature from this day forward.

Manifestation

Water that has been mixed with the titans body and activated with magic will glow brilliant blue. It is said to restore grievous wounds and even fix broken objects. In unique situations rains activated by natural magic glows this same brilliant blue and can heal a wildfire striken landscape.

Localization

The Depth is localized to off the cost of the Linco United and descends to the bottom of the ocean. 866 years later and the whirlpool has only gotten mildly smaller and less powerful.
